Marliese is:

a librarian,

someone who loves hearing (and talking) about how these tools we have can work together to improve the user experience.

I spent seven years in academic libraries, working mostly with metadata management and display and a little student outreach thrown in for fun. Now, I get to work with librarians across North America to understand how library management systems are fully integrated, not only within the library but among the entire university.

Enthusiasm is just like the ‘magic penny’ song from childhood… the more you’re around it, the more you share it, the more inspired you become and remain in your own daily life. That’s the kind of office I like to see in the morning.
